Welcome Douglas County Republicans, after you have created a user name and password, go to the forum. Please feel free to start your own topic if you want. I'm not going to police this as we are all adults and I don't want to steer the topics or conservation to my views, I want this to be a county wide discussion.
I hope you find this useful and I will leave it up as long as we are using it.
If there is anything I can do to make this better for us let me know and I will give it a go.

While it is recognized that each person would prefer his personal idealism be recognized as gospel to everyone and bypass healthy discussion by demeaning any objective opinion. This is the current condition of our society and the object of liberal progressivism. Read the doctrine. Chaos will assure confusion and in turn apathy to the solution. This is accomplished through public education monitored by progressive editorial. Have you verified your information with reliable resources-and I don't mean SNOPES. How about the Library of Congress. If you listen to the same story told by different folks it ends up not being that same story. Verification of information is key to real knowledge.
All persons are indoctrinated by their frame of reference and if that is limited by any means whatsoever the frame of reference has been tainted. Few persons are able to rely on Empiricism but rather the intrinsic state of reference by others as a whole. Thus our modern text books.
The only solution to govt is less of it thereby limiting the indoctrination and opening the frame of reference to verified historical fact rather than an intrinsic perspective by a prejudice party. Americans are the jury-they just haven't heard all the facts.
Politics has become an exercise of faith. Faith that the other guy knows what he is doing and since he has the platform he must be right.
If it is in writing or on TV it happened? Well that depends on the author. Eye witness, pictures of gun in hand are the best chance of getting it right when making your decision.
Has it dawned on us why the Texas legislature has taken over the text used to educate their students.
Our system has been totally compromised with a lack of fact. Most sources put a spin on everything. Then we dont all hear from the same source.
Write it down and see if your neighbor knows the same thing.
That is the basis of politics. Tell the facts with your own spin. A great politician can tell you to jump in the lake and have you anxious to get into your swimsuit-Hence Barack Obama.

I believe that most folks would love to join in but the majority of conservatives are busy trying to make a living and pay taxes.
